Summary
In Mozambique, Project Last Mile works closely with The Global Fund and the local Coca-Cola bottler, Coca-Cola Beverages Africa, to support the Mozambican Ministry of Health and its Central de Medicamentos e Artigos Médicos (CMAM) in advancing their Strategic Plan for Pharmaceutical Logistics (PELF).
This is primarily achieved through enabling network optimization, outsourced distribution and logistics capability development. Project Last Mile uses local Coca-Cola expertise to provide mapping and delivery data to streamline the medical and medicine supply delivery system, based on the bottler’s long history of efficient delivery across Mozambique’s challenging terrain and infrastructure.
