eVisa & Visa on Arrival
Mozambique’s immigration authority, Serviço Nacional de Migração (SENAMI), has transitioned to a digital eVisa platform. While physical ‘visa on arrival’ is technically possible at major ports of entry (such as Maputo International Airport), it is approved on a case-by-case basis and is not guaranteed. All international crew members are strongly urged to get pre-approval online before travel.
SADC Exemptions: Citizens of SADC member states (such as South Africa, Zimbabwe, etc.) are visa-exempt for tourism purposes, but must check current travel registration rules prior to departure.
Turn-Around Time
Online eVisa pre-approval takes 1 to 3 business days. Attempting VoA at the border without pre-approval can lead to major delays.
Entry Costs
Payment is done online or at the border upon presenting the eVisa pre-approval. Contact us for current government fee listings.
Required Documents & Portal Credentials
SENAMI mandates the following documents to secure an eVisa or clear migration control:

02 eVisa Pre-Approval Receipt

03 Confirmed Flight Reservation
