After Cyclone Freddy devastated parts of Mozambique in 2023, flooding displaced families and was followed by a surge in malaria cases. This Global Fund film follows Celina, whose daughters contracted malaria after the family fled their flooded home, only months after she lost her husband to the disease. It highlights how The Global Fund worked with government, community, and other partners to strengthen the response, including expanded spraying campaigns, and calls attention to the health impacts of extreme weather.
