Filming in Mozambique’s National Parks
The ANAC (Administração Nacional das Áreas de Conservação) regulates all commercial activities, wildlife documentaries, and filming within national parks, marine reserves, and conservation areas in Mozambique.
Obtaining ANAC clearance is a separate, specialized requirement that must be secured in addition to the main INICC filming permit.
Processing Time
ANAC reviews applications within 5 to 10 business days. Complex wildlife projects or drone approvals may take longer.
Strict Compliance
Environmental impact assessments, conservation protocols, and park entry rules must be detailed and signed.
Key Required Documents
To apply for ANAC permits, we require:
01 Detailed Project Description & Purpose
A complete overview detailing exactly what will be filmed, how wildlife is affected, and shoot objectives.
02 Environmental Impact Assessment
An evaluation statement explaining how your crew will mitigate any ecological footprint or disruption to reserves.
03 Exact Location & Dates List
Specific park coordinates, paths, and dates. Shoots must stay strictly within these approved locations.
04 Passport Scans & Crew Details
Passport copies of all crew, listing any specialized environmental consultants or handlers accompanying you.
05 Signed ANAC Agreement
An official terms and conditions document detailing responsibilities, safety rules, and permit fee payments.
